In this room there are eight rows of eigth tables and chairs. The students may sit where they want to, but with a few restrictions. There should not be more than one student per row. This applies to the rows from left to right and from front to back. Also, in order to spread the students nicely over the room, the examiner requires that every diagonal row should allow at most one student to sit down. By a diagonal row she means a row of tables parallel to a diagonal of the room. Finally, the students should take place in alphabetical order by name from left to right.
Where are they going to sit?
Anna is the first student that enters the room. She takes a place in the front row. Then Deborah arrives. She takes place in the back row. Then the other students enter. They sit down immediately. To you the question: Where are they sitting?
